We work with dozens of external partners, from our internal sports science team to external sports performance organizations, who will advise us on how to conduct our workouts. “To properly showcase the level of detail in a motion capture-based football game, we had to first invest time and resources into recreating the world of training and competition for our motion capture players. As a result, we are able to provide a higher level of player facing, fluid animations, realistic ball strikes, more unpredictable and believable actions, and a more dynamic playing experience. “By focusing on all player movements in the game, the different animations are created and designed with authentic performance details, without the use of any game cameras. “Through the adoption of this technology in FIFA, we can give the game a new dimension of authenticity and identity, as the different player movements, movements on the ball and the density of the gameplay adapt dynamically to each player and level. “With ‘HyperMotion Technology,’ we’re able to reimagine the whole idea of player animation within football,” said Ivory Taliaferro, SVP of EA SPORTS.
